From Blazar Broad-Band SED to AGN Jet Physics

报告摘要: Because of Doppler beaming effect, the blazars present violent and rapid variability, strong polarization, and broad-band spectral energy distribution (SED), which covers from radio to gamma-ray band. These properties can be used to constrain AGN jet physics, including jet launch mechanism, the energy dissipation/particle acceleration process, the location of emission region, the jet matter component, and so on. In this talk, I will focus on modeling blazar broad-band SED to study these questions.
